Well, sugar, not that my thoughts are important- I mean, I'm just a pretty girl who posed for the Toronto Sun, right? That MUST mean I'm rather slow on the uptake.


Well, since you asked, and I HAVE been following the Cordoba Center debacle quite closely at work, here you go.

The brass tacks of the entire debacle is this: Freedom of Religion, a core American value, means ANY religion. The entire controversy stems only from bigotry and blind, misguided patriotism. The NYC government has no right to step in and deny private citizens the right to build a religious center, ON THEIR PRIVATE PROPERTY, based on their particular religion.

...Oh, and before you ask, my relationship with my parents is just fine.
