I just got done watching this and fighting nausea for the last couple hours. No, I won't forget about it.

The thing that bothered me the most about that day was watching people jumping out of the building. I watched a documentary later on that was done by French brothers (they were doing a documentary on a NY fire station when the first tower was hit). One of the brothers was in the tower with a firefighter crew and you could hear the very loud "bang" every few minutes which was identified as the people who were jumping.
Thanks for posting Monty. This is something that should never be forgotten. I too will never forget that day.
nvm

The Falling Man is still the most haunting photograph I have ever seen to date. That and the last 10-20 pages of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (by Jonathan Safran Foer).
Link to the picture is in the spoiler tag below in case you don't want to see it:

there was a bbc documentary on the falling man i think. and htey were able to identify who it was and I think it was one of the chefs from the skyview restaurant on the top floor.
truly haunting and sad
That was it Kathy, the first time I'd ever seen the people jumping. Makes me sick.
The fact that I watched the second plane hit live on TV was something I'll always remember.
