Looking for a New Headset

sorry, i'm asking about quality. Does usb have problems? driver problems? does it have more static than audio jack? same thing with wireless. anybody have problems with wireless?

and yes peter, its only for my pc, to play games and to talk thru it on my computer. I will not need it for my mp3, phone, home theater or ps3.

USB will start to cause issues if its on an overloaded bus, I have mine in with my keyboard and a drive but it gets a bit iffy if I put the mouse on the same bus too. it works on a lot more computers if your jumping from tower to tower if you want the simulated surround on some of them. Wireless audio has caused me nothing but grief, bringing anything close to it including my phone and a power point remote caused it to erupt in static and it had static issues regardless.

For the record I have a logitech g35 its a really good headset considering it cost 120-140$. usb and the first simulated surround that has actually worked well for me.

I've got a cheaper USB wireless headset, a plantronics that I bought for around $60. It's decent, the range is better than my old Creative HS-1200 and the sound is ok, but sometimes it cuts out for a few seconds and I can't use it when it's charging. I couldn't go back to wired though
