Uhh there are better engines out there that perform better on consoles. Their engine is old and inefficient.

First off their engine is not that inefficient.
My PC runs awesome and looks awesome on it. On the other hand my PC runs like shit and looks like shit on Frostbyte engine. Just an isolated comparison.
What more could they achieve visually on consoles? Should they code a new engine for 5fps increase? Just because their are marginally better engines out there in regards to consoles they should develop a whole new engine? Good thing you guys are not making these decisions for Bethesda because they would be out of biz.
Makes no sense at all, and I guess Bethesda agrees with this.

Oh it is not the greatest engine at all. But its just not feasible to develop a whole new engine for modest improvements. You have to admit that moving around in the Fallout3 engine feels wierd though. Doesn't feel natural at all.
Look at how cheap activision is with COD. They reuse the engine, textures, models, gameplay. Their games probably cost a few hundred bucks to make LOL.
So you're saying games like Fallout 3 and New Vegas look better than, say, Bad Company 2? That's would be a downright ridiculous statement and you know it.
The current engine is dated back to Oblivion. It's not THAT good looking, and it definitely could be a lot better in terms of performance and looks. Especially when most games now days excel in both.
Very excited for this release. MoeB I have you blocked for a reason :D
Which is exactly why I did not imply this anywhere. I am confused at how you could have possibly inferred this. Really.....So you're saying games like Fallout 3 and New Vegas look better than, say, Bad Company 2? That's would be a downright ridiculous statement and you know it.
You just said the game engine is the best it possibly could be. That's where I inferred it.
