    It doesn't look like it's using GTA's RAGE engine. 3rd screenshot hints at the bullet time effect?

    ya ya ya we'll see. Gameplay / story will still probably be terrible. Also any game can have fancy cinematics.

    I'll always remember the second one as being the most efficient graphically intense game eva! Damn that thing was beautiful and ran like hot butter.

    agreed. I could max it without stressing my card and it looked gorgeous. lovely special effects -- fire and bullet time trails were pretty grand.

    I think it was able to do that because most of the action occurred within tight corridors. There were hardly any large outside areas so they were probably able to make the engine more efficient.

    I pre ordered the special edition for PC. It came to $100. It comes out on May 27th
    I believe console version comes a week earlier
