    TNRT5 LAN

Like wise said, GG. Maybe mano can not jinx the shit out of the NETWORK next time. Jerk.

Big thank you to mano and Skully and Xzin and KT and Orion and Bunny and sick Cleavage (jerk) and sicker Cocoon (jerk) and papa Green (jerk). And all the good people who mooched off their time and effort like I did. So good to meet most of the rest I hadn't met already.

Special thanks to Brian for helping me figure out how my stupid box was messin' with me.

    Re: TNRT5 LAN

On behalf of the Founders of TNR I wanted to thank everyone for making the trek to Oshawa for our 5th anniversary celebration and LAN. This is never an easy feat to manage and coordinate, so we thank everyone for your participation and understanding (when we were having power, router, food or network issues).

    Special thanks to:

Mano for setting up, the network, the server, tear-down, clean-up, prizes, event planning and just for being a Manofphat !
Jole for the 1 and 1/4 switches (bring one that works next time please..lol) and assistance setting up the network.
Andrew for making the brownies, helping out with the event, shopping for and cooking the food, cleaning up and tear-down.
Passport (what is your real name - Jules ?) for getting the coffee stuff and doing the various shopping runs with Andrew.
Peter for helping to organize the teams and tournaments.
Mike for helping setup / tear-down, music / mic and team/event organization.
Nina for supplying and making the great Sandviches and helping to plan the event, clean-up and tear-down.
Gabe for his help with managing the server.
    TEKSAVVY for the Interwebs.
Derek for getting sick and going to Hospital (jerk)..lol - hope u feel better dude !
Ajay and Space for the prizes (and for being a real live TV Star !!!)
Brian for his help with the network and other peoples PC's.
Kirk (?) for helping set-up and run cables.
Kathy for the name tags, extra LAN cables and event planning. (and Aiden for getting the stuff to us)
Jarrett for helping with tear-down and clean-up and for finally taking the T-Shirt from 3 years ago.
EVERYONE for bringing extra extension cables, LAN cables, food and drinks and those who helped setup/tear-down. And for putting up with our learning curve / delay's.

If I have missed anyone, my apologies. Someone will catch me on it and detail it within this thread (please). My mind is still a fog this AM.

Again, many thanks to everyone for your hard work and dedication to TNR. We appreciate your support and <3.

next time mano has to moon walk over tables....

  5. Re: TNRT5 LAN

Someone should change the title of the thread to TNRT5 shout out thread, just for distinction.

And helluva a good time, guys. It's been a while since I've played any of the NR staples but it was a lot of fun going back into it. In no particular order, shoutouts to...

Xzinum, for driving my ass there and letting me pass the fuck out in the car while your drove. That and taunting me every time I lost at something. Which is everything.
    manophat, for being manophat. Jerk.
KT, for slapping me and telling me I can't call my parents so you could rape our team.
kilatsat, for creeping on mano and KT, 6-pooling me, buff bannering us and overall being a chill guy.
bunny, for sandviches, bringing MVC3 and being an awesome person to sit beside.
Onawire, for being another awesome person to sit beside. Sorry for the buff banner.
JetFox, for playing me in every game at T5. Good times in TF2, SC2 and MVC3. If I had my stick, I think all of my time would have been drained in 3rd Strike alone.
    - side note: Pharm was another 3rd Strike fan as well. Can we convert or introduce NR folk to the glory that is 3s? We can even play online!
    cujo, for piping me.
Wesley Crusher, for being another awesome guy and driving me home. Thanks again!
DeathSniper, for telling us that while GRU helped us, it wasn't the reason why we won. And telling me I played a good medic. We all know that's a lie. Speaking of...
Ajay, for tolerating my bullshit. I said that I played medic and in the last match where you were subbing, I essentially forced you to play something else, while I went around trying to kill myself quickly as possible. With that said...
Wiseguy, for organizing the tournaments. Thanks for running it. My only gripe is that you made Jukon play all their matches straight. Seriously, we need to eat.
ungst, for letting me use his computer so I could get 6 pooled.
    DrewOwns, for his GG button.
Aydz, for not knowing how much I hack. At every game.
Phant, for playing MVC3 and wrecking people. I got used to the pad by the time I was done (at least with Hulk)! Where were yooooooooooooooooooooou
    Lopert, for being fab.
Jukon (kilatsat, buchan, Helix, Matt, Gunslinger, BloodRaven, Ajay and noGympTQQ), thanks for the team, guys. It's been a while since I played medic but getting back into it was a lot of fun.
    MVC3 players, HULK SMASH
Organization committee, thanks for doing a great job and running a great event (except you, mano). It was a great time even with the speed bumps along the way.
Everyone else, thanks for showing up and making it a great time.

    Now, to Wonderland!
