shoot, I should've checked the forums out in the past few weeks. my old roommate has a dinosaur that I fixed up the other day, and he could really use a decent system.

if the price point is around $500-600 or so, I think he'd be interested. he doesn't play games, so a passable ~$100-150 gfx card will last him an eternity.
