No More Excuses To *NOT* Buy *AN* SSD

Under $1 per GB. Price point satisfied?

If you don't have one, buy one.

Re: No More Excuses To Buy SSD

Keep in mind that it is a refurbished drive. I'm not sure how big of an issue that will be with SSDs, but most people don't like to buy refurbished products.

Also, this is a Sandforce based drive, which I'm pretty sure always have a higher failure rate than SSDs based on other controllers. Especially on these first generation Sandforce drives.

And since it is a refurbished drive it only has a 30 day warranty.
Why should I have to WORK for everything?! It's like saying I don't deserve it!

It's also only $120 for 120GB or super fast goodness. I'm thinking of grabbing one to swap into my PS3.

Been priced at this for a while on other NCIX parented sites (directcanada/bestdirect). Picked one up myself a while ago. Perfect drive for testing out setups.

I fixed the title and destroyed Peter's diploma

things fail, I've lost an SSD and a HDD in the past year, doesn't mean SSDs aren't far superior. There are things like warranties to dull the pain
