I don't understand here. Does everyone here think that a computer is limited to one storage device? Is this the crazy train? You don't have trade in your old drive for the SSD.
I thought having multiple drives was the normal thing to do?
I've got 6 (admittedly a lot). But when one of them dies I have backups etc. Do you really want to store ALL of your data on a single drive which is likely to fail at some point in the future?

I only have one drive in my notebook. I also have only one drive in both my desktops.

Yes, if you know what you are doing, it is actually difficult to lose data on a conventional hdd. And quite frankly, my data isn't all that important anyways. If it is, it does not belong on a home computer. Period.
