I'm thinking about building my own computer but dont really know shit about computers so iv been asking around and this is what iv been recommended. just though id pass it through here and get your opinions.
I think it looks alright. You can find better prices than TigerDirect, they tend to be a little more expensive.
You could always play the waiting game and maybe get something from the HD7000 series which will be out shortly.
I have the same cooler, and I'm really pleased with it. But TigerDirect's price is quite high (I got it for $40 last year). If you're willing to spend that much, check out the H60 or one of Corsair's newer models. I think they improved the mounting, which is really my only complaint with the unit.
I think Memory Express is supposed to have a really good i5 combo on sale for Boxing Day. It sold out really fast but they are supposed to get more in stock again. It will probably sell out immediately again, but it might be worth a shot. Here's the combo
Also compare prices with NCIX and Canada Computers
I'd recommend buying from Memory Express if they have the items you want. They have a Price Match where they'll beat a competitor's price by 25% of the difference. And since you're buying an entire system that will cost over $250 shipping will be free.
Why should I have to WORK for everything?! It's like saying I don't deserve it!
Cooler is a bit pricey but other than that it looks fine.
Ask Rob whatever motherboard he got and get anything but that one.

The case is pretty solid but gets hot fast from what I have seen, I would like to see how the cooler goes because I like the case in every other regard, my current rig is in a hat box.
I have that case, no problems despite having a bunch of components in there.
Memory Express has the H60 for $50 (after $10 rebate). Better price than the H50 from TigerDirect, and a better unit.
