Looking for gaming mic without headset.

I don't know if you have already made your decision but here is what I do.

I use a set of audiophile headphones and just wear a tiny cheap ass headset around my neck. Just let the headband part sit around your neck, the feeling completely disappears like you are wearing a necklace. Then the boom mic just points up towards your mouth. Something like this.

thanks rez. I was looking at similar mics but the ones I saw in the store all had terrible reviews, but this one seems legit. My only concern is that it seems to be designed to clip to the wire on your headset, which I won't have.. can't tell if the clip will work on my collar or what based on the amazon images.. I'll have to dig around some more.
