CES 2012

I'm off to CES today, never been before so I'm excited.
I'm hoping for a bunch of swag

If anyone has and recommendations as to which booths to visit, I am all ears.

lol, haven't been to the oracle booth yet. this place is massive.

some cool home automation stuff here, lots of new android tablets coming too.
Got just a bit of swag so far. 1 tshirt, 1 nice set of earbuds, a laptop bag, and a security webcam, though that one only works with a paid service. will have to see if I can hack it to work like a general one.

Haven't been to half the areas yet. I'm also doing the conference tracks here, so lots of those going on.

I think I got myself onto camera several times so far. I'll have to watch discovery canada's footage later, I was standing behind the guy from LG the whole interview they had with him.

lots of booth babes here as well.

I had lots of fun at the Nvidia booth. they had some racing simulators setup, once of which had the whole pneumatic chair setup. That was very cool. The track they had it set to was Mosport which was great, I've done several trackdays there in both cars and motorcycle, so I did quite well

Well, didn't find Oracle, not sure if they even had a booth, they don't make CE devices. I might have missed them though.
Good time here overall. Very sore from all the walking (hotel was off the main drag so had to walk 1.5km to and from monorail station, plus several km each day going to sessions and booths).

now waiting at vegas airport for my flight, I hear there is snow in Niagara now, I haven't seen any this year at all, will be a shock after a month in south america, and a week in vegas.
