I went to see "Evil Dead - The Musical" this summer, and it was hilarious! The first two rows were dedicated as "the Splatter Zone" because anyone who sat there was guaranteed to be drenched by stage blood during any one of the scenes! (They're hinting that it might come back in the next year or so, and I recommend any fan of the movies to see it! You won't be disappointed.)

I met Bruce Campbell at a book signing in Toronto - class act. He did a Q&A at the beginning, and some guy asked, "Are you gonna have another 'bit part' in Spider-Man 3?"

He laughed, and said, "Hey, I played a 'pivotal role' in both of those movies. In the first one, I named the guy, and in the second one, I was the only guy to beat him, by keeping him from seeing his girlfriend's play! If that's not 'pivotal', I don't know what is!"

Yes, I realize I look like a starstruck fan. He was a really great, down-to-earth guy to talk to. I've read his auto-biography, "If Chins could Kill - Confessions of a B-Movie Actor" and "Make Love the Bruce Campbell Way"... I recommend them both, if you're a fan of the guy.

He actually used to give out free autographs to anyone who requested one from his website - I'm the proud owner of two! (I hadn't received the first one a couple of months after asking, so I thought I'd try again - I received both within the span of a couple of weeks.) It's funny. His standard signature is "Hey [your name]! Bruce", and I've got that on two pictures, and his book. He also signed my "Army Of Darkness - Boomstick Edition" DVD.
