Reserved Slots, and Me. Maybe I'm an idiot.

As the title says, perhaps I'm just "petarded", but I've had alot of issues trying to connect to the servers lately, whenever they've been full or close to full...

But am a registered "reserved slot" ticket...

and honestly, I just don't get how they work, I guess.


If a server's full, but not ALL with ticket holders, if I try and get in, would it be kicking a random off, or how does that work.

I believe you open up console and put in "connect [serverIPhereplz]" without the quotes... rather than the standard double click.

On another note regarding getting reserved slots + donations... do cash moneys work? lol

The server size is set to 32. 1 of those spots is used for manospy, and one of those spots is hidden for connects through console. Whenever someone with a reserved slot tries to join, the server size will show 32/31. During that time you won't be able to use your slot and you'll have to wait for the server to kick someone.

TBH I'm not exactly sure how I have it setup. I'd check but I'm at work placement right now. It's either setup to kick the person with the shortest connection time (or a spectator) or kick the person with the greatest latency (or a spectator)

That's correct. When you just double click it, it doesn't see the hidden slot on the server which is used for authentication with the reserved slot. You need to use the console. Cash is fine. You'd have to meet up with someone in Toronto though. What I recommend to most people that don't like to use PayPal is e-mail money transfers. All of the big banks have that option now. If you're interested in that, PM SKULLCRUSHER

Thanks much mano, I'll look into it. The issue for me is that I can't register my credit card on Paypal because the billing addresss is in a different country than my home address =.=
