This is a game I just read about now, but it looks pretty sweet. I don't have a release date, but I'm a sucker for RPGs and Co-op games. The goal is to get a sci-fi atmosphere with a first person diablo style gameplay. You have to level up, choose skills and all that good stuff. The weapons are all procedurally generated, they're made when you come across them following various programmed rules. This means they have something like half a million possible weapons. Pretty cool stuff. I really recommend checking out the video on page three of the interview, it's got an example of gameplay.

Looks like a good game, but there's so many games I want to buy, it's crazy. I don't know back in the day when I played way too much PS2, I used to buy games like every week, but now I just don't know where to start. *sighs* They all look so good.

It's... Weird to say the least. It's very repetitive. You know what to expect in each new scenario, because it's all the same basic structure. It's not bad, but I got bored of it very quickly.

Wasn't Hellgate created by a group've ex-Blizzard devs, in the style of Diablo w/ a first-person perspective? I didn't expect much of it, and don't really intend to even bother trying it. :/ Hopefully they manage to create a nice balance in Borderlands. Oddly enough, I always think of the old Shadowrun sega game's karma system when I think of a FPS/RPG hybrid. Was so disappointed when they made a Shadowrun, online-only, FPS game... /sigh. :/

The more i think about it the more i'm excited, I love Co-op mode.
