    Tf2 server lagg issues

i have been on the orange servers and the dustbowl ones often and at random times i get large amounts of lagg. i usually have a ping of bout 42-62 but the spikes go on up to 190-500. now 190 is not bad alot of people play with pings over that but for me its pretty bad.
i randomly hit the ` key which brings up the developer consol while i had a lagg spike and i was amazed to see a crazy readout of

this continued until i left. now this readout was a continuous thing and this is a tiny part of it. the readout was only broken up by someones death or since i left my disconnect message.

i dont know the reason for this but if this is the issue and anyone knows how to fix it please let me know.

If you know how to backup your configs and skins (if you have some), you can do that and just delete your tf folder. That'll reset it back to default settings and probably fix it.

It stores all of the default files in the gcfs, so deleting it doesn't hurt anything except your custom files.
