not that I cared too much until I got kicked from a slot saying "this is reserved slot for donators or something."

I was like "hey thats me"

I never got my 1 month reserved.

ok as long as everything is legit. I guess I never noticed I actually had a reserved slot because it would not kick me

If I donate $20 now, will I get 4 months of privileges?

No, at least, I believe mano made a post recently stating that whatever you donate for the month gets you a contributor status for the month. If you'd like to donate over a period of time, subscription would be the best bet (I'll find the link in a sec.)

Edit: Disregard my statement above... looks like I'm giving false info as I can't find the post anymore. I'll let mano do the talking for this one.
