Tried one out today.
Pretty nifty - if you have an iPhone with MiFi then you can tether your iPad.
It's impressively fast on WiFi and just general usage, font sizes on the book reader are pretty good, weight is nice, typing is nice.
It's a slick device for what it does. Would make for a really nice browsing unit if I didn't use a PC for more things.
I sit at a computer all day, I don't have anywhere else to go and use it!
Funny thing is, after I got a BlackBerry I practically stopped using Thunderbird and Gmail.
I could easily see the iPad being used in a similar manner.
I don't understand why its selling soo well and well enough to entice other companies to make something similar!!!
