Retarded because at beast, fights are two idiots who can't keep it in their pants going at it, at worst (like that), they're two idiots who fight "just because", or because that's what they're paid for. Fighting doesn't belong in hockey as a sport, look at the Olympics: if you fight, you're gone.

Hockey is a physical, agressive, Sport. the NHL is a bunch of professionals, meaning they are paid to play the game, and because of both this and the outlooks of most people who watch and play in the NHL, a good clean fight, though not always the "best" of the sport, it is still a stratgey people employ, take out a good player who has an agressive nature like Orr did, and you can demoralize your opponents the whole game.

you know, i love how people always pick out Kratos as my name when they see this one ive had for years now... basically since the original NR server was up... And yes, I mean the CS:S server that was started by a cal team that got banned from another server by scrub Admins that couldnt tell good players from hackers.

Fantastic game, I loved seeing Ottawa get schooled. Leafs have a goalie, and some morale. Look wtf happens. Still not sure what happened Friday night though.
Leaf fan through the thick and thin all the way.
I don't 100% agree with the current team's stance on fighting, they do it a little too much in my opinion. A Fight like last night though sends a pretty solid message though.
